Challenges of Globalization East and West:
Philosophical Aspects of Globalization of Higher Education, Economy, Law, Religion and Culture
St. Petersburg, 19–20, July 2010 

The following round-table discussions are planned:

  1. National Identities and Challenges of Globalization.
    2 A Search for Archetypal Values in the Personal-Societal Encounter of “Wellbeing” from Classical Antiquity to the United Nations.
  2. Philosophies of Meta-Economics in the Globalization of the Knowledge of Economic Thought.
  3. Higher Education and the Challenges of Globalization in Religious Studies
  4. Philosophies of “Progressive Growth,” “Ecopiety” and “Wellbeing” in Sustainability based on Daoism and Confucianism.
  5. The Questions of Trans-cultural Legal Theory on Issues such as The Protection of Civilians During Armed Conflict.

Requirements for the abstracts and papers.
Working language of the conference is English. Papers should not exceed three pages (up to 5000 characters) in MS Word format, abstracts and short bio of the author – not more then 1000 characters. At the right top of the corner of the paper there should be: author’s name, scientific degree, academic position, and in brackets — city, country, for example: Gill P., Ph.D. in philosophy, professor (Oxford, GB); in the center — the title of the paper. Abstracts, short bio and papers have to be accompanied by the Application form (enclosed below) and sent to both contact persons in Russia and USA with subject heading: “family name: SRPh+GSP”. Deadline for the application and the paper is: 1st of June 2010.
Papers that (a) concerns particular specifics political issues, (b) merely collections of descriptive facts, © assertions of normative (moral, aesthetic prescriptive) are OUTSIDE of the topics covered by the conference. The Conference organizing committee has the right to reject and edit papers.
Registered and accepted papers will be listed at www.srph.ru by 10th June 2010.
Selected papers will be published in the proceedings of the Conference in a series by GLOBAL SCHOLARLY PUBLICATIONS (GSP), New York, USA.

Registration fee – 100$ (includes conference materials in English, meals during the days of the conference), publishing expenses – 50$, social events with transportation — 50$. The Conference Organizing committee cannot cover travel and living expenses.

    The report in English that the society knew about the report maintenance less? Then it is better at once in a Hebrew, the will understand and from the others and so all is hidden!
