Yesterday police beat up and arrested 700 peaceful protesters in NY… just as it should be according to our democratic principals.
10 years ago I composed American Requiem I (http://www.cdkmusic.com/American%20Requiem.htm) and put on music the last public speech by President Lincoln. The speech has been silenced by our free media for the last 148 years… as it should be according to our democratic principles:
“Vision by President Lincoln” after the passage of the National Banking Act of 1863 and shortly before his assassination: “I see in the near future a crisis approaching, that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country; corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in High Places will follow, and the Money Power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon prejudices of the People, until the wealth is aggregated in few hands and the Republic destroyed”.
…unfortunately no American composer has ever been inspired even to touch this topic. Why? …because these schmucks are more patriotic than Lincoln. I want to say to them: STOP COMPOSING CRAP!
