Sergey Pizikov is a highly qualified specialist with overall practical experience in governance reforms, legislative reforms, project management, administration, supervision, monitoring and evaluation, including with very specific experience of OECD project, over 11 years of experience with USAID funded projects in CAR and developing countries. Experienced in management, administration, liaising with government authorities and business community on issues related to project technical activities, problem solving issues; technical guidance, mentoring and directing project staff to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met on a timely basis in accordance with project work plans and PMP; goal oriented: in DB 2011 Kazakhstan is recognized as a top-reformer among 183 countries, and in DB 2012 Kazakhstan entered to 50 countries with the best environment for business. World Bank credited Mr. Pizikov for his contribution into Doing Business reforms in KZ by Certificate of Appreciation.
Besides DB, Sergey Pizikov has an extensive experience working with local government bodies and business representatives. He is working closely with local administrations as well as participated in both Council of Ministers meetings and discussions between national and local government officials.Although Mr. Pizikov has had great success at the national level, local government and private sector activities have historically been a great interest of his. Being experienced in project administration, including budget planning and cost control, Mr. Pizikov has strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills; effective both in team and individual work.
Sergey’s experience also includes short-term consulting services such as for USAID Business Enabling Environment Program (BEEP) in Kosovo, development of Concept of Investment Policy in Tajikistan and courses for students in Russia.
